Competition Terms and Conditions

Every participant must comply with and agree to the following competition terms and conditions for a valid submission:

1. Participants must ensure that all submitted information is truthful. Legal responsibility will be borne for any false, misleading, or untrue information.

2. Upon request from the organizers, participants must provide documentation to verify the accuracy of the information submitted for application and to confirm eligibility. The Competition Organizing Committee and Host may contact participants to clarify, verify, or obtain information provided by the applicant.

3. Participants guarantee that the submitted work is their original creation, and the applicant owns the intellectual property rights, ensuring that the content does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party.

4. Participants agree to authorize the Competition Organizing Committee and Organizers to publicly use their name, school, grade, artwork, and other related information for publicity and promotional purposes. The copyright of winning entries shall belong to the Organizers.

5. Subject to Clause 3 above, all submitted personal data and artwork content will only be used for application approval.

6. The organizers will conduct photography and videography during publicly open events such as workshops and award ceremonies. Participants acknowledge and agree that the Competition Organizing Committee and Host may publish their names, photos, and videos in event programs, reports, websites, Facebook, WeChat, posters, and other promotional materials.

7. Shortlisted participants must attend the awards ceremony for this competition. Shortlisted participants will also be required to attend relevant promotional activities and media interviews.

8. The judging results, as determined by the judging panel and the organizers, shall be final. The Competition Organizing Committee and Organizers also reserve all rights to interpret and modify any details without prior notice.

9. The Competition Organizing Committee and Organizers are not responsible for any risks or legal liabilities arising from participants' entries.

10. The responsibility for protecting intellectual property rights or other rights of participants lies entirely with the participants. The Competition Organizing Committee and Organizers will not be responsible for the protection of participants' intellectual property rights or other rights.

11. If a participant violates or fails to comply with any of the competition terms and conditions, the Competition Organizing Committee and Organizers reserve the right to disqualify their participation and/or awards. Any awarded prizes (if any) must be immediately returned in full to the Competition Organizing Committee and Organizers, and the Competition Organizing Committee and Organizers reserve the right to claim all losses, expenses, and damages from the participant.

 

Disclaimer:

1. The Organizers reserve the right to make all final decisions.

2. Should any participant be found to have omitted or concealed information, their eligibility to participate and win will be revoked, and participants may not object to this decision.

3. The Organizers will not provide participants with the judges' list in advance.

4. Participants declare and warrant that they have no issues or potential hidden dangers concerning their legal qualifications, physical condition, or mental health that could impede their participation in the competition. Should such conditions arise and affect the normal running of the competition, the Organizing Committee and Organizers reserve the right to disqualify the participant at any time.

5. Participants confirm that the Organizing Committee and Organizers have advised them to seek independent legal and professional advice regarding the content of this application form and future practices. Participants understand that the Organizing Committee and Organizers will not bear any risks or liabilities arising from the competition.

6. Content published by participants is strictly prohibited from involving political, religious, discriminatory, inappropriate, or illegal elements. The publication of any such content does not, in any way, represent the official stance of our organization.

7. Participants are responsible for ensuring that their published content complies with the National Security Law and the Basic Law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

8. Participants must agree to the Competition Terms and Conditions and this Disclaimer to be eligible to compete. The undersigned hereby declares and confirms that they are authorized to sign this participation declaration on behalf of the participant.
